We are seeking a Food Service Lead to oversee food preparation and service at our convenience store location.
- Position reports to store manager and assistant store manager.

Responsibilities:
- Operating cash register effectively during customer transactions.
- Cleaning, organizing, and stocking as needed and as assigned.
- Maintaining inventory records on a computerized system.
- Overseeing merchandising, displays, and signage; ensuring displayed prices are accurate..
- Ordering food, beverages, equipment, and supplies as needed, and utilizing a build-to for merchandise.
- Overseeing food preparation, storage, portion sizing, and the overall presentation of food.
- Maintaining equipment and kitchen areas to comply with health and sanitary regulations.
- Ensuring that employees comply with health and food safety standards.
- Addressing complaints regarding food quality or service.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Positive attitude
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possess active food handler’s permit or willingness to obtain one after hire
- 1 years’ experience in a retail setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
