Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using precision measuring instruments and schematics.
- Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to implement solutions for equipment malfunctions.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and manage work orders.
- Provide field service support when necessary, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
- Assist in welding tasks as needed to ensure the integrity of mechanical systems.
- Work with logic controllers to optimize machine performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems; certification as an industrial electrician is preferred.
- Familiarity with scissor lifts, welding techniques, and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience working with logic controllers and understanding of schematics is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
