Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate and follow up on leads to secure new business opportunities.
- Conduct in-home sales presentations to homeowners, providing expert recommendations on roofing, siding, windows, doors, and other home improvement solutions.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to educate clients on product benefits, pricing, and financing options.
- Effectively close deals in a one-call close environment, maximizing conversion rates.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Manage sales cycles from prospecting to final sale, meeting and exceeding company sales targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and installation crews, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Qualifications & Skills:
Sales Experience: 1 years of experience in in-home sales, residential sales, or direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales, particularly in roofing, siding, windows, HVAC, solar, or building materials.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with home improvement products, construction materials, and installation processes is highly desirable.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and persuasive communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients.
Self-Motivated & Competitive: Goal-oriented, resilient, and driven to succeed in a commission-based sales role.
Negotiation & Closing Skills: Ability to handle objections and close deals effectively in a fast-paced sales environment.
Physical Stamina: Comfortable conducting home inspections, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
Tech-Savvy: Ability to use CRM systems, digital sales tools, and mobile applications to manage leads and track sales progress.
Plus: candidates are strongly preferred due to a diverse customer base.
