Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, particularly within the restaurant and quick-service fast food sectors. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring high standards of service, staff training, and operational efficiency while fostering a positive work environment. GMs typically operate under the direction of a District Manager and directly manage a team of an Assistant Manager, Shift Leaders, and Team Members.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service.
- Oversee food operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct staff training programs to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction.
- Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and drive sales growth.
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation in alignment with culinary best practices.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective team management and communication.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction levels.
- Ensure compliance with all local health regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or food industry, preferably in quick-service fast food establishments.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles and practices.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary experience or knowledge is a plus but not required.
