Controls Technician
Job Summary
The Controls Technician Intern will assist the Controls Technicians in performing skilled electrical work building and assembling complex control systems found on amusement rides, including PLC and ladder logic-based systems. The Controls Technician Intern will need to have a basic understanding of schematics and complex control circuits.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings to assemble electronic control systems for amusement rides
- Able to read and understand complex schematics for ladder logic and PLC based systems
- Ability to examine electrical problems, identify source of problems, and determine method for resolution
- Complete basic electrical tasks; read, interpret, and work from electrical plans and diagrams; work with limited supervision; work cooperatively with others
- Knowledge of practices, tools, equipment, and materials used in the electrical trade
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- High School Diploma required; enrollment in a vocational or technical school degree program or pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree preferred
- Familiarity with PLC controls, Allen Bradley preferred
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with a high attention to detail
Salary : $22 - $26
