Job Summary
Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the overall accurate inbound flow of parts and equipment and the internal routing to appropriate departments including production, administrative, and other support staff. The Shipping and Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and direct shipping personnel in processing parts for outbound shipment and maintain accurate inventory records.
Responsibilities
- Manage the shipping/receiving staff.
- Manage the ride packaging and material handling departments.
- Oversee the process for all inbound deliveries including UPS/FedEx, LTL, local deliveries (including vendor deliveries). The use of equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, dollies, etc. will be utilized in the daily duties of these tasks.
- Supervise Shipping Department personnel and ensure accuracy in their work as it relates to other departments and intra-departmental needs.
- Direct efficient movement and warehousing of parts between departments within the company. This includes the movement of inventory, raw goods, work-in-process, and finished product.
- Maintain S&S inventory. This includes both generally held inventory as well as project specific inventory.
- Assist in the processing of outbound shipments including properly loading and securing equipment for safe transport.
- Manage all outside processing which may require the use of a 1-ton truck and gooseneck trailer.
- Properly maintain provided tools and work areas. This includes both internal and external work areas as described by the area managers.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
- Experience in leading a team in a warehouse or shipping environment.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
- Must be dependable, with a proven history of satisfactory work attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
