Job Overview:
STARS Security Services is seeking a vigilant and enthusiastic Static Security Officer to join our team! As a Static Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining order and deterring loitering and trespassing on a multi-residential property in downtown Reno. THIS POSITION IS GRAVESHIFT ON THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY. If you have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently without the need for constant supervision, we strongly encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Deter delinquency and loitering
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Write detailed reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities
- Collaborate with first-responders when required
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries or concerns
Skills:
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
