Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics, manage teams, and maintain quality control throughout the building process. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in construction estimating software.
Specifically looking for someone with experience framing houses and pole buildings, installing metal on buildings, running equipment, and managing a crew of 4 - 5 workers.
Pay will be determined by experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews on-site.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution.
- Manage contracts and communicate effectively with subcontractors and clients.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in safety and construction techniques.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
