S.T. Wooten Corporation is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, including bulldozers, backhoes, and excavators, to perform excavation, grading, and other tasks on commercial job sites.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy equipment and will be able to fine grade with a bulldozer and excavator. Experience working on multiple machines is a plus. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and strong communication skills.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Must be at least 21 years old and have reliable transportation to the job site. Physical demands of the job include lifting and moving heavy materials and equipment. Working outside in all types of weather is also a requirement.
