What are the responsibilities and job description for the Door to Door Sales Representative position at S2 Refuse and Recycling?
S2 Refuse and Rolloff, a locally owned and operated company for over 15 years, has an exciting part-time position for a Door to Door Sales Representative. In this role, you’ll be given a coverage area to present door hangers and interact with homeowners on S2’s residential recycling and trash services. THE ROLE
- CUSTOMER SERVICE: Drive to your assigned mapped area, conduct door-to-door sales visits to present current incentives, and negotiate to close potential customers on S2’s services. Capture customer information and submit to the office for sign-up.
- COMMUNICATION: Clearly communicate all product offerings and timeline for service. Build rapport with residents by educating on our company values and benefits.
THE EXPERIENCE
- KNOWLEDGE: A consistent work history and an entrepreneurial mindset to achieving results. Prior experience in customer service, canvassing / canvasser, server, bartender, multi-level marketing, retail sales associate, and telemarketing encouraged to apply.
- SKILLS: A proactive approach to solving problems and working independently. Strong ability to communicate in person with potential customers. Excellent organization skills in collecting customer interaction and setting up for service with our office. Strong customer service skills with a focus on building rapport.
- ABILITY: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided). Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
