Sr. Software Engineer
S2Technologies, LLC is actively seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our mission of delivering cutting-edge software solutions to our government clients. The successful candidate will be involved in automating and optimizing critical software algorithms, ensuring software compliance with military IT standards, and contributing to the development and integration of innovative IT solutions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Programming and Development : Leverage expertise in Python, Java, C , HTML, and various databases to automate High-Performance Computing (HPC) algorithms and support the development of critical software tools.
- Technical Collaboration : Work closely with government technical SMEs to automate the Windows of Opportunity (WOOs) code, OverWatch, and EagleEye algorithms, and ensure new EMS members can operate these tools efficiently.
- Software Compliance and Improvement : Ensures all IT products, including software, hardware, and processes, adhere to the AFTAC Enterprise Infrastructure Baseline, proposing any necessary deviations for approval.
- Agile Methodology : Adopt and execute the Preferred Agile Framework as outlined by the Department of the Air Force, contributing to an adaptable and efficient development process.
- Documentation : Contribute to customer-required deliverables, including code documentation and other necessary artifacts.
