Overview
S2Alliance is seeking a Scrum Master / Project Manager to join our team. This role will focus on Agile project management, product delivery, and cross-team coordination to ensure successful program execution. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, be a certified Scrum Master or PMP, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal government security clearance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project management, ensuring delivery meets timeline, quality, and budget goals.
- Work with government product owners to develop roadmaps, release plans, and sprint schedules.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Collaborate with multi-vendor teams to manage project scope, define tasks, and track deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and generate status reports.
- Maintain and enforce the Project Management Plan while ensuring adherence to contract requirements.
- Serve as a proxy product owner when required to align priorities and business needs.
- Develop solid relationships with government stakeholders to understand requirements and project expectations.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required and the ability to obtain a government security clearance.
- Minimum six years of Scrum Master experience with expertise in Agile methodologies.
- Minimum eight years of experience in project management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project).
- Proven ability to deliver high-visibility projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to multitask across multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM) is highly preferred.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
- Experience working in government IT projects or federal contracts.
- Experience in IT-related projects, cloud technologies, or software development environments.
- Hands-on SQL knowledge is a plus.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- A Master s degree may substitute for two years of experience.
