Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain analytics and reporting solutions using SQL, Tableau, and other data visualization tools to support Medicaid program operations and decision-making
- Extract and analyze data from Operational Data Stores (ODS) and Data Warehouse environments to identify trends, track performance, and ensure data accuracy in support of healthcare reporting needs
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to troubleshoot data issues, validate reporting outputs, and provide actionable insights for MMIS and claims processing systems
- Create and manage documentation for data sources, reporting logic, and dashboard functionality to ensure transparency, consistency, and ease of knowledge transfer
- Apply healthcare domain expertise to interpret complex datasets and translate business requirements into effective technical reporting solutions within a large automated Medicaid system environment
Qualifications:
- Must have at least two (2) years experience in a large automated system relevant to the position
- Experience with fiscal agent or MMIS operations in large-scale automated claims processing systems or other comparable systems is preferred
- Must be proficient with software, programming languages, and data warehouse transactions
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience as a developer with ODS environments
- Applicable certifications are preferred
- Additional desired skills/roles include troubleshooting, SQL, Healthcare data knowledge, communication and documentation, Tableau, Data Warehouse
