Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support senior project managers in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This is a remote position offering a competitive salary with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Senior Project Managers in the day-to-day management of large-scale projects, ensuring all project objectives and deliverables are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders and vendors, to ensure seamless project execution
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans
- Utilize Microsoft Project to track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Support the management of project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring alignment with project goals
- Facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting meeting notes, and tracking action items
- Assist in the development and implementation of project management best practices and methodologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in project management or related roles
- Familiarity with healthcare IT implementations and projects involving multiple stakeholders is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management tools
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences
- PMP certification or working towards certification is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, demonstrating proactive and self-motivated behavior
