Logistics Planner
S2Technologies is currently seeking experienced Logistics Support professionals to provide recommendations on deployment policies, procedures, and guidelines. Implement deployment guidance from Higher Headquarters (HHQ) and assist the 492 SOW Unit Deployment function by ensuring readiness requirements are met.
Primary tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the development of BBPs/MOUs/MOAs and coordination between Ground Support Units (GSUs) and Host Tenant Units.
- Implement deployment guidance from Higher Headquarters (HHQ) as necessary. Assist Unit Deployment functions for training and readiness tracking/reporting, scheduling, cargo processing, pallet build up, hazard cargo preparation, and recurring reporting in deployment specific systems.
- Implement deployment guidance from Higher Headquarters (HHQ) and assist the 492 SOW Unit Deployment function by ensuring readiness requirements are met, consisting of updating electronic deployment readiness folders, scheduling pre-deployment training, booking travel, and coordinating medical out-processing for deploying members.
- Coordinate the Time Phase Force Deployment Data submissions for all Wing units.
- Review Wing taskings and develop logistical requirements using the DCAPES and Single Mobility System.
- Execute multiple aircraft, cargo, and personnel movements for 12 Special Operations Task Units (SOTU) & 2 Special Operations Task Groups (SOTG) throughout the year to support up to five continuous deployed operations in four Areas of Operations.
- Coordinate with Individual Personnel Readiness (IPR) offices at Eglin AFB, Hurlburt Field, and Duke Field to execute timely and accurate processing of deploying Active-Duty personnel and Unit Type Code (UTCs).
- Coordinate with squadron Unit Deployment Manager (UDMs) and the Traffic Management Offices on Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field AFB to support operations.
- Provide inputs to the Installation Deployment Plan at Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field and synchronize with the bases' Installation Deployment Readiness Centers.
- Utilize the LOGDET and Manpower Force Packaging System within the MEFPAK tool to keep UTCs current.
- Update Mission Capability Statements to include Line Remarks as required.
- Report the status of 14 UTC's and update the status as appropriate.
- Conduct a yearly UTC review and report any findings through the Wings Military Logistic Officer in Charge to AFSOC HQ.
- Provide cargo assembly assistance to subordinate units using the LOGMOD system.
- Provide advisory assistance to l0UDMs of personnel and cargo requirements.
- Administer AFFORGEN Connect, ASIMS, Air Force Input Tool, and Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) tools through system inputs, and monitoring and reporting updates for deploying members and drafting Wing Readiness Reports for 492 SOW Leadership within the DRRS system.
- Provide weekly updates and briefings of deployed forces to the 492 SOW Commander and staff.
- Ensure wing-level DRRS, Force Element Assessments, and FORGEN programs are executed and reported throughout unit realignment.
- Support the A34 division chief to focus on mission growth and relocation to D-M. (From 492 SOW/A3).
- Update electronic deployment readiness folders, scheduling pre-deployment training, booking travel, and coordinating medical out-processing for deploying members.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 3 years logistics experience with Special Ops or Special Forces
- Hands on experience with logistics management tools listed above.
