- Performs rearrangement, alteration, construction, and maintenance activities on equipment.
Representative duties and responsibilities :
Requires ability to read and interpret all types of maintenance blueprints and specifications; use of shop mathematics to compute wire sizes.Works from engineering drawings, manufacturer's wiring diagrams and work order instructions.Determines routing, location and method of installing wires, conduits, electrical equipment, fixtures and accessories.Examines malfunctioning equipment to determine if modifications / repairs are needed and performs them as required.Performs operational checkout of electrical systems and equipment to assure proper installation and operation.Use your detailed knowledge of particular events, day-to-day problems and opportunities and how things are actually done to implement ideas that :

Electrician - Maintenance
must maintain the appropriate certifications where applicable.Must possess the degree of familiarization which is consistent with and considered usual and normal for the complexity of the work to be performed.Requires 4 years experience.Essential Functions
UNUSUAL OR SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods.Must have sufficient mobility to work with hand tools, climb and work in difficult positions where necessary.Must have ability to carry light, medium and heavy parts or materials.Lift minimum of 50 pound load up from the ground frequentlyWalk for long periods of time per dayBend and stoop for long periods of time per dayWork overhead with minimum 20 pound loadPush and pull frequently throughout the dayWalk up / down stairs frequentlyStand for long periods of time per dayWear PPE gear six hours continuously (steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves)DESCRIPTION OF WORK ENVIRONMENT
Can involve inside or outside work depending on task with working conditions including dirt, noise, heat or cold, and occasionally wiring in barely accessible places.EQUIPMENT AND MACHINES INVOLVED IN WORK TASKS
Must be able to use precision measuring instruments such as voltmeter, ameter, megger, growler, electric power tools, etc.Must be able to maintain motors, circuits, generators, transformers, switches, controls, fixtures, etc.CRITICALITY OF ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
