S3, Inc. seeks a Technical Writer to work at our corporate HQ in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL.
The duty site is 615 Discovery Drive NE, Huntsville, AL. Military experience is a plus. This is not a teleworking position.
Job Description:
The Technical Writer manages the workload of support for the preparation of contract and task order proposals as well as research, marketing, and document development for the company’s various programs, capture managers, and directors.
Responsibilities:
Gather information from the Program, Capture Managers, and Business Developers to draft technical proposal content that is compelling and compliant with the solicitation requirements.
Manage, process, write, and coordinate acquisition and technical documentation such as Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objective (SOO), Request for Proposal (RFP), Source Selection Reports, and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).
Reviews, assesses, and outlines program related documentation requirements.
Develops, organizes, and maintains the past performance database to facilitate and streamline past performance submissions.
Using established criteria, conducts searches of opportunity websites (SAM, GovWin, etc.) to identify and develop data on potential business opportunities.
Upon opportunity selection, integrates the opportunity into the business pipeline, conducts research on selected opportunities, presents findings and recommendations, and participates in reviews to facilitate assessments and possible pursuit.
Utilizes tools including SharePoint, OneTeam etc. to facilitate program organization and capture developmental activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Must have at least nine (9) years’ experience using Microsoft Office Suite and a skill rating of 4 out of 5.
Have an active Secret Security Clearance.
Have four (4) or more years of experience supporting proposal development and submission.
Have four (4) or more years of experience using SharePoint, OneTeam or similar software packages.
Have three (3) or more year of experience researching, developing, and analyzing Government Business opportunities.
Three or more years of experience reviewing and editing technical proposal submissions.
Three or more years of experience organizing, updating, and maintaining proposal-related information.
