What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machining Tech position at S3?
Now hiring a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes. Applicants must have five plus years of experience. This is for a full-time position, including full benefits.
Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist:
- Planning machining processes by reviewing blueprints, engineering drawings, and material requirements.
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Make necessary adjustments to the CNC machine to optimize performance and production.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts.
- Program mills by entering instructions.
- Maintaining specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations.
- Preventive maintenance requirements on equipment.
Requirements of the CNC Machinist:
- High school or equivalent
- Basic machinist tools required
- 5 years of experience
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must have Driver’s License
