About the Position:
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Manager, Project Management, to join our team based in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. This leadership role reports directly to our Chief Revenue Officer and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management for SA Products, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership & Governance
- Develop and implement project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Align project execution with business goals and corporate strategy.
- Oversee project portfolio management, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Report project performance to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Project Oversight
- Lead, coordinate, and drive product development, supply chain, logistics, marketing, manufacturing, retail rollout, B2C, system configuration, IT, digital transformation, and e-commerce initiatives from concept to timely launch.
Team Leadership & Development
- Build and mentor a high-performing project management team.
- Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics for project managers.
- Foster collaboration between departments to improve project execution.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Optimize processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and sustainability goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a project management leadership role in the hardlines consumer product industry leader.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master) are a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel; experience with NetSuite software preferred.
