SA Family Dentist is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our dynamic dental team. In this key role, you will work closely with our dental team, patients, and insurance providers to ensure treatment plans are created, explained, and effectively coordinated. You will be responsible for guiding patients through their dental treatment journey, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are in place for a smooth process.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans based on patient assessments and needs.
- Review and explain treatment options with patients, ensuring they understand the steps involved.
- Prepare and submit insurance claims for treatment approvals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plan documentation.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate any necessary treatments or procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding their treatment plans.
- Track treatment progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure effective care delivery.
- Assist with financial arrangements and payment options for patients, including insurance verification and billing.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental office of atleast 1 year required.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
- Knowledge of dental insurance policies and claims process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with dental software and basic computer applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or certification in dental assisting is a plus).
