This role is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, managing financial systems, ensuring accurate data entry, and coordinating interdepartmental financial processes. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Manage and maintain financial systems and databases to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform data entry for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions.
- Assist with invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reporting.
- Reconcile financial statements, bank accounts, and other financial records.
- Coordinate financial information and workflows between departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Generate financial reports and assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to internal and external financial inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and other financial documentation as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Restaurant365) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively coordinate financial tasks across departments.
