What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant - Full Time position at SA Nurses Home Health?
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Full cycle accounting, including responsibility for accurate accounts payable and payroll, general journal entries, and month end close for multiple entities
- Preparation and thorough understanding of full suite of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting
- Minimum three years' experience in Accounting and Financial Reporting
- Proven ability to think critically and solve problems independently
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Computer literate with an aptitude to learn new software programs
- Advanced Excel skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Recent Home Health finance experience, to include knowledge of PDGM reimbursement
- Experience working with HCHB and WellSky/Kinnser EMRs
- Knowledge of Sage, Excel, GL, AP and Critical thinking skills
