What are the responsibilities and job description for the Midwest Civil Designer position at SA Recycling?
Civil Designer Experience Needed:
- Civil Engineering Degree. BS or MS.
- 7 plus years minimum experience, prefer 10 plus years experience.
- 5 plus years of drafting experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
- Concrete experience (repairs, paving, grading)
- Surveying (LiDAR, drones, GPS, total stations, 3D laser scanner)
- Drone mapping . Experience in creating accurate to scale aerial photograph of a facility.
- Candidate must have the ability to retrieve field data, measurements, and other information to produce drawings for structures, assemblies, site plans, and Utilities in AutoCAD format.
- Knowledge in the use of Total Station robotic instrument used to collect topographic data, produce drawings, and perform site layouts a plus but not required.

- Assist CM and Roving construction in retrieving field data and performing site, building surveys
- Produce drawings from field recovered data and surveys under the direction of the CM.
- Maintain updated network filing systems for all drawings produced.
- Edit construction plans to produce as built drawings for all projects upon completion.
- Produce and bind drawing sets for RFQ process when needed.
