Our public relations professional manages SA Recycling’s image and relationships with the public. Our goal of PR is to create and maintain a positive image for our region of SA Recycling, to improve communication channels and build a mutual understanding between SA Recycling SAV Region and the public
J o b Duties Including, but not limited to :
Build relationships : Engage with various stakeholders such as Chamber of Commerce, lobbyists, local business organizations to shape public perception
- Create media : Write press releases, newsletters, and social media content and coordinate with SA Marketing Manager Carl Daniels for postings.
- Manage media relations : Respond to media inquiries, coordinate interviews, and pitch stories to journalists
- Develop social media : Create social media programs to increase awareness of SA Recycling’s services, outreach and community benefits
- Respond to crises : Help develop a crisis communication plan and respond to negative press
- Liaison to SA’s current marketing consultants : Coordinate with Dave Simon and Bunny Ware to further our public relations efforts in a productive and efficient manner
