Your role
As M&A Integration Director you ensure a seamless integration of acquired companies into our organization by being the central source of knowledge and best practices for post-merger integrations. The M&A Integration Director reports to the Head of M&A and will on behalf of the acquiring business within Saab be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all activities related to post-merger value creation and integration, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals and maximize value.
In this role, your main assignment will be to, together with a co-lead from the business and reporting to the Integration Steering Committee, develop and manage comprehensive value creation and integration plans that align with the strategic objectives of the acquisition.
You will work with all phases of the integration process, such as :
- value creation and integration planning during due diligence
- further detailing of plans post-signing
- post-closing execution
- and post-acquisition review and follow-up
This role also includes responsibilities within risk management, change management and to collaborate with senior leadership and functional leaders across the organization to ensure alignment and support for integration activities.
Belonging to the Group M&A function, you assure processes, best practices and lessons learned are continuously developed, documented and spread throughout relevant parts of the Business Areas and Business Units at Saab.
Your profile
Since this work is done in project form, we see that you have exceptional communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. We also see that you have proven track record of successfully leading complex integration, carve-out or change projects, preferably within a similar industry. We further see that you have :

You are a good relationship builder and with your excellent communication skills, including experience interfacing with C-suite executives, you can easily prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around / of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
