What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Clerk III position at Saalex Solutions Inc.?
JOB SUMMARY
This is a Part Time position which requires nights, weekends and holidays. The candidate performs a wide range of duties to include, building surveillance, equipment and property surveillance, customer relations, after hours point of contact, and system inspections for assigned facilities. The candidate often performs these duties without direct supervision. They are required to perform periodic walk around inspections of the facility, assigned equipment and surrounding areas to ensure compliance with building security processes, facility systems functionality as well as fire and hazard awareness. The candidate serves as the Point of Contact during off shift hours, they may be required to process emergency information and to forward /notify responsible parties in the event of an emergency. The Candidate shall be required to walk up and down several flights of stairs and to patrol a large indoor and outdoor area of responsibility. They are required to maintain records and to give a verbal pass-down on a daily basis. This position requires a security clearance, valid state driver’s license and the ability to obtain a forklift license. The schedule is flexible, working hours are weekends and nights to include holidays.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
