About the Role
We are an early-stage AI-driven technology company focused on transforming data processing and analysis in the healthcare industry. Our platform leverages machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), and cloud infrastructure to streamline and enhance workflows.
We are seeking a fractional CTO with deep expertise in AI, cloud-based architecture, and scaling intelligent systems. This role is perfect for an experienced technology leader who is looking for a high-impact, part-time role in an innovative and fast-growing space.
Key Responsibilities
AI Infrastructure & Scaling – Guide the development and optimization of AI-powered data extraction and summarization tools.
Code Review & Best Practices – Establish and enforce technical standards, code review processes, and software architecture best practices.
Cloud Strategy & Cost Optimization – Architect and refine scalable, cost-efficient cloud infrastructure (Azure / AWS).
Technical Leadership – Mentor and collaborate with engineering teams, ensuring best practices for AI / ML development.
Compliance & Security – Oversee data security, compliance (HIPAA or similar), and system reliability for sensitive information handling.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or senior technical leader in an AI / ML-focused organization.
Strong background in machine learning, NLP, and OCR technologies.
Experience in optimizing AI performance while balancing cost, accuracy, and latency.
Cloud computing expertise (Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments).
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2) and secure handling of sensitive data.
Strong code review and technical mentorship skills.
Prior experience working fractionally or with startups is a plus.
