This position is part time, Monday-Friday 8a-12p on site @ 8405 Beverly Blvd, 90048
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and verify monthly master schedule for all providers at all SCC clinics ensuring EPIC
- Daily monitoring of time off (both planned and emergent) as approved by clinical leadership
- Communicate daily with call center staff, CMO, AMD’s, and Clinic Managers to confirm all changes to the provider schedule, solve problems and make recommendations.
- Maintain an accurate roster of available providers
- Update internal tickets to create templates
- Care Team support working closely with QI
- Weekly communication with the per diem roster of provider regarding clinic coverage.
- Coordinate provider supervisory and peer review process.
- Prepare reports as delegated by clinical leadership
- Work with Medical leadership to maintain and update clinical department workflows and policies and procedures
- Coordinate new incoming providers itineraries and ensure all new providers have access to related software and EMR
- Provide timely clerical and administrative support such as including but not limited to maintain office supplies, distributing office mail/faxes, record expenditures,
- Support the Medical Department and Director of Nursing Management
- Partner with clinic leadership in preparation for upcoming audits (MHLA, HRSA)
Position Requirements:
- 3-5 years of secretarial/general office experience.
- Previous experience in a scheduling or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality as this position has access to highly sensitive and confidential information
