Who We Need
Sabel Systems requires a Product Lifecycle Management Migration Specialist (PLM Migration SME) ensuring seamless data transfer and system integration to a Department of Defense agency. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing the migration of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems from legacy environments to newer platforms using industry best practices for delivery to our DoD customers. This position requires strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to manage migration projects to completion.

- Identify potential risks, dependencies, and technical challenges associated with large scale migrations and proactively address them.
- Ensure proper mapping of data between the old and new systems, maintaining data integrity and quality throughout the migration process.
- Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to assess the current PLM system, identify migration requirements, and define the scope of the migration.
- Work with IT infrastructure teams to ensure the new PLM platform has the appropriate resources, storage, and network configurations for optimal performance post-migration.
- Perform rigorous testing to ensure the migrated PLM system works as intended and that all workflows, applications, and data are fully functional.
- Provide training to end-users, system administrators, and support teams on the new PLM platform, including the new operational processes and workflows.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive migration documentation, including process flows, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Offer continued post-migration support to ensure a smooth transition and address any issues that may arise after the Lift and Shift migration.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback post-migration to ensure the stability and effectiveness of the new PLM environment.

Your Qualifications
Required
- 3 years of experience with PTC's Windchill PLM platform. Prior experience as a Windchill technical consultant is required, as well as having worked in a customer facing role providing process architecture design and workshop delivery. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their experience in the following areas: Windchill PLM architecture design and ETL processes.
- Transforming existing Windchill PLM Systems, along with the tooling and techniques used to accomplish such transformational projects.
- Legacy systems retirement and data migrations.
- Windchill systems administration and system change control procedures.
- Understanding of Extract, Transform, and Load principles.
- Understanding of CAD data management and other product data content management.
- Experience in the use of Windchill Bulk Migrator is a strong plus. Alternative migration tools will also be taken into consideration.
- Demonstrated understanding of product development, manufacturing, and supply chain business processes.
- Understanding of solutions development methodologies (e.g. DevOps, Agile, Software Development Lifecycle, etc.) is a plus.
- Must have and maintain CompTIA Security certification or equivalent certification to adhere to DoD IT Standards as mandated by DoDD 8570.01 and DoD 8570.01-M.

Skills Required:
- Solid proven background across all phases of a Solution Delivery Methodology
- Sound understanding of latest Windchill architecture, features, application interface framework including CAD interfaces
