POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Leadership Development will oversees and manage the Administrator and Department Mentorship programs. You will manage and enhance the Administrator in Training (AIT) Program and develop, lead and execute an engaging New Leader Orientation. You will create, execute and oversee the administration and accreditation of CEU programs for the Company. In addition, you will facilitate and develop the Administrator Council and serve as a resource to identify, plan, and implement training and development needs of the leadership team. This position is an in-office position located in our Community Support and Development Office in Beachwood, Ohio.
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Education or related field required
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator preferred but not required. We encourage applicants with relevant experience or qualifications to apply
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with senior leaders, co-workers, outside agencies, and other key personnel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze systems, policies, practices, and processes and to make decisions for improvement.
- Knowledge of and experience in planning and executing business objectives and strategic plans.
- Skilled in the Microsoft Office suite of tools including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to communicate in a positive manner, with tact, professionally, and efficiently with communities, management, agencies as well as other members of the Company.
- Must be open to travel as needed for up to 25% of the time.
Experience:
- Must have experience with teaching adult learners, preferred.
- Must have at least three (3) years of long-term care experience and/or experience in talent development.
