Job Summary:
The Regional Director of Rehabilitation is entrusted with the responsibility of carrying outdaily tasks and assigned duties while demonstrating the highest integrity. They are expected to provide innovative, responsible results with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and be mindful of all revenue aspects dependent on your position. You will provide support to Rehabilitation Directors in the success of returning patients to optimal physical functional and facilitate achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals in a fiscally responsible manner.

Qualifications/ Responsibilities:
- Must be able to travel between our Saber Facilities in the Southern Charlotte area of North Carolina.
- Must possess hold a valid and current license as a therapist or therapist assistant granted from the state of employment.
- Must have proven leadership ability with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in rehabilitation management
- Monitor department programs for effectiveness and efficiency, following facility and corporate protocols
- Conducts facility reviews based on operational needs, changes in management and commitment to regulatory compliance
- Responsible for the staff education and implementing of the Restorative program from skilled services
- Monitor Director of Rehabilitation in assessment of appropriate RUGS classification per patient needs
- Previous experience in PDPM required
- Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of social care plans and resident assessments
- Refer resident/families to appropriate social service agencies when the facility does not provide the services or needs of the resident
- Provide information to resident/families as to Medicare/Medicaid, and other financial assistance programs available to the resident
- Provide consultation to members of our staff, community agencies, etc., in efforts to solve he needs and problems of the resident through the development of social service programs
