Position Summary
Lead, manage, support and develop a department of Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist Team Leaders and Revenue Cycle Billing Specialists to ensure a timely and accurate Revenue Cycle Process. The Billing Manager supports the Revenue Cycle Billing Department in all aspects of Revenue Cycle management, beginning with business office process and concluding with resolution of all balances. This is a corporate position and will oversee billing for multiple states. Must have the ability to critically think through and develop policy and procedure for the organization.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Director of Revenue Cycle to ensure the accurate recording of revenue and timely collection of accounts receivable.
- Maintain and update the systems and policies related to revenue and accounts receivable.
- Manage, supervise, hire/fire, guide, support and mentor team leaders in their management of staff and completion of responsibilities.
- Provide Corporate Director with industry updates as well as internal results.
- Travel as needed to affect change and accomplish goals.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or other similar healthcare or finance field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare related revenue cycle leadership.
- Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organization skills, along with attention to detail.
- Skilled in the Microsoft Office suite of tools including Outlook, Word, Excel as well as PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate in a positive manner, with tact, professionally, and efficiently with communities, management, agencies as well as other members of the Company.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have the ability to verbally communicate with residents, families, agencies, the public and other members of the organization.
