We are a independent owned business, whose core values are to always demonstrate integrity in every transaction. We are a team of people helping people. Our independent insurance business has been established for over 24 years, our CEO has been in the insurance industry 26 years. We rarely hire, so we are looking for the right person. Our success is based on the relationships we build within our Team, our clients, potential clients, our community and the companies we work with. We assist our clients with protecting themselves, family, businesses, assets. We also invest our time and money by helping charities both local and abroad. As an independent insurance agency, we work for our clients, not one insurance company.

Our office hours are Monday thru Thursday 9:00 – 5:00, Friday 9:00 – 3:00. We will train the right individual.

Job Responsibilities:

· Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients and companies we represent on the phone, email and on paper.

  • Manage and update data in proprietary software system
  • Assist sales agent in quoting new business and look for opportunities to add additional policies.

· Support teammates with follow up for clients and prospects.

· Research and resolve coverage questions.

· Promptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronically.

· Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company… both paper records and on our many different software programs.

· Issue new policies

  • Manage upcoming renewals
  • Take care of cancellations
  • Handle general service requests
  • Deal with lapsed/cancelled policy reinstatements

· Assist with other office duties as they arise and are needed.

· Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling.

Professional and Personal Skills:

· High school diploma or equivalent is required. College education is a plus especially if you have taken business classes or have a degree.

· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and a calculator

· Must be computer literate and type quickly and accurately.

· Must have worked in a business office environment in the past.

· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

· Organized, structured, and punctual and will follow the rules

· Must have a clean record with the DMV.

· Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical and honest.

· Knowledge of insurance policies, computer systems, carriers, and processing is considered a plus but is not required.

· Having an insurance license is not required but is a plus.

· Bilingual isn’t required but is a plus. We are looking for Spanish as well as English languages both spoken and written.

Wages and Compensation:

· We offer competitive wages between $17 - $25 per hour depending on experience. We offer the following benefits: 5 days paid vacation, 5 Paid Holidays and 6 Sick Days, Health insurance contribution, 401K. Bonuses for a job well done when numbers are met with accuracy. Sales Producer Duties:

* P & C (Property and Casualty) Insurance license is required

* Experience in the insurance industry is required

* Possess the ability to work independently, calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

* Assist customers to resolve general customer service inquiries as needed

* Regularly exceed sales quota

* Customize insurance programs, taking time to clear any questions

* Follow up with existing agency customers

* Receive inbound calls, emails and outbound calls to existing customers

* Review coverage selections with customers

* When appropriate recommend additional products and coverage's to existing customers

* Solid computer skills with knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
