Saber Power Services, LLC, (SPS) located in Houston, TX is a nationally recognized full service, EPC, specialty engineering, procurement, construction and testing and commissioning company specializing in complex medium and high voltage electrical infrastructure in North America.
Saber Power Services seeks a professional, dedicated individual with a positive outlook for our Drafter I opening in Houston, TX.
JOB SUMMARY :
The Drafter Level I is responsible for providing drafting skills in a field where computer-aided drafting and / or design (CADD) are performed.
Job duties and responsibilities
Provide Drafting support as part of the drawing productions in an effective and accurate manner. Typical functions of the job include, but are not limited to :
- Assist in the creation of technical drawings for projects while adhering to customer submittal timelines
- Assist in preparing layouts, sections, details, schematics, and wiring based on sketches and / or verbal instruction
- Assist with project drawing revisions and updates
- Assist in compiling, organizing, and managing of company-wide library of reference drawings and documents
- Work with drawing control staff to assemble drawing packages for submission.
- Collaborate with project engineers to create and revise drawings for production and / or customer approval
- Other duties as required
