Responsibilities:
- Perform routine patrols and maintain a strong visible presence to deter threats
- Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel gain access
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activity
- Enforce safety protocols and remove unauthorized individuals or trespassers as needed
- Monitor surveillance systems and report irregularities
- Prepare detailed, accurate incident and activity reports
- Current Maryland Security Guard License (required)
- Authorization and ability to carry a firearm in the state of Maryland (required)
- Prior experience as an Armed Guard or similar role preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Solid understanding of public safety and security procedures
- Strong written communication and report writing skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and strong observational skills
