Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN)/LPN to join our team for the overnight/day shift. This PRN position plays a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our clients during nighttime/daytime hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent clinical skills, and a genuine passion for helping individuals on their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to clients, including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and managing medical needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical and mental health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including therapists, counselors, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
- Offer emotional support and education to clients, fostering a therapeutic environment.
- Participate in shift handovers and communicate effectively with incoming and outgoing staff.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN or LPN license in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a mental health or addiction treatment setting.
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
