Legal Assistant - Insurance Defense & Appellate Law Needed!
Our firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to support one of the most recognized Trial and Appellate Law Firms in Albuquerque.
Sabio Systems is looking for a skilled Legal Assistant with at least 3 years of experience in insurance defense and appellate law to provide critical support in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities for the Legal Assistant :
- Prepare, draft, and file legal documents, correspondence, and memoranda
- Manage complex calendars, schedule depositions, and coordinate court filings
- Organize and maintain case files throughout all phases of litigation and appeals
- Conduct legal research and assist in preparing trial and appellate documents
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold attorney-client privilege
- Support attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination
- Communicate professionally with courts, opposing counsel, and clients
Qualifications for the Legal Assistant position :
Compensation : $24 - $28 per hour DOE
Position is Mon - Fri 8a - 5p / Onsite - No Remote
