BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Maintenance Team Lead (MTL) is responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance operations for the entire platform. This includes supervision of maintenance technicians, coordinating daily operations, assigning tasks, ensuring timely completion of repairs and preventative maintenance, managing equipment upkeep, and promoting a safe working environment within a facility, often by prioritizing work orders, troubleshooting complex issues, and providing training to team members to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In conjunction with Production Foreman set day-to-day priorities to maximize the efficiency of the operations personnel and provide direction and support to the team to deliver business objectives and goals.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and assist Operations personnel to perform the necessary repairs, modifications, and calibrations of a wide variety of equipment used in the production and measurement of oil and gas.
- Schedules and supervises the maintenance and repairs of offshore production equipment including reciprocating natural gas compressors, pumps, air compressors, etc.
- Leads efforts to ensure all preventative maintenance is performed per Sables Maintenance Management System program.
- Schedules the transportation of third-party repair and maintenance personnel and supplies.
- Ensures the maintenance and retention of all essential records and reports.

- 14-14 rotation schedule/12-hour workdays

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required, post-secondary education in related field preferred
- Minimum 15yrs of offshore production operations experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Interface with all platform departments including operations, electricians, and instrumentation
- Interact with Construction Group on major projects
- Interact with U.S. Government (BSEE) and Santa Barbara County (APCD) inspectors
- Interface with all departments including operations, engineering and electricians
- May be required to supervise outside contractors working on company equipment
- Working knowledge of tools to include, but not limited to, hand, power, and precision measuring instruments
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and meet established deadlines
- Understand correct isolation and purging of equipment for maintenance or repairs

PAY INFORMATION:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $62.00
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The position requires manual dexterity to handle documents and operate office equipment. Also required is performing repetitive motions and extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking for varying lengths of time. The position requires interacting and communicating professionally with others via speaking, hearing, and writing; learning new tasks, processes, and concepts; thinking to solve problems; concentrating on required tasks; distinguishing color and depth perception; and reading data, figures, electronic and hard copy documents.
The position requires frequent stooping, bending, squatting, crawling, crouching, pushing, reaching, pulling, lifting, grasping, fingering, reaching over the shoulders and below the waist, carrying up to 75 lbs. while walking, lifting up to 95 lbs. to waist level and lifting up to 65 lbs. over shoulder level, the continuous use of both hands, arms, and feet, and manual dexterity to operate heavy and light tools, equipment, and materials.
The position requires walking or traversing over and across uneven terrain, accessing areas outdoors and on or around equipment, over or around obstacles or structures such as pipes, low rails, and walls, stooping or bending to reach certain locations, climbing stairs or ladders, and exposure to outside weather conditions.
The position requires wearing personal protection equipment such as gloves, gas masks, suits, etc., with an average weight of 10-25 pounds.
