Sabot Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage projects effectively, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. This role involves providing direction and guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with audit frameworks, and managing healthcare industry projects.

Responsibilities:

• Apply project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools to manage projects effectively
• Lead project teams, providing direction and guidance to ensure successful project delivery
• Provide project management experience related to audits, compliance, and data release
• Work with audit frameworks and compliance standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, FISMA, and SIMM and SAM policies regarding the use of data
• Manage projects for State Level healthcare departments
• Develop audit reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation
• Develop IT policies and implement governance frameworks to ensure audit compliance
• Advance project management discipline within project teams, defining processes, procedures, and best practices for consistent project success throughout the organization
  
  

Must Have:

• 5 years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible project management experience. At least 3 years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity
• Possess a bachelor’s degree and a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• 3 years of experience providing project management related to audits, compliance, and data release
• 3 years of experience in audit frameworks and compliance with standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, FISMA, and SIMM and SAM policies
• Experience providing project management services for State or Federal Level healthcare departments
• Experience developing audit reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation
• Experience developing IT policies and implementing governance frameworks to ensure audit compliance
• Experience advancing project management discipline within project teams
  
  

Nice To Have:

• Experience in aligning solutions to business and IT requirements
• Experience with state and federal audit frameworks such as National Institute of Standards and Technology 800.53, ITIL, SIMM 5305, and retention policies
• Strong understanding of and working with cross-functional teams within IT and Audits
• Experience in data governance tools and technologies like Alation, Informatica, or Collibra
• Experience in identifying and scheduling project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks
