Quality Assurance Engineer - Lottery

Salary: $80-120k

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Sabot Consulting is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to help with software acceptance testing services for the local Lottery System. The project resource will provide leadership in operations including managing online gaming terminals & associated equipment at lottery retailer sites. The QA Engineer will also be responsible for ensuring gaming systems function without major errors & complies with software requirements specifications & MUSL certification.

Responsibilities:

• Generate test plans based on IGT Software Requirements Specifications (SRSs)
• Conduct acceptance testing of the gaming system, ensuring compliance with SRSs and MUSL Certification
• Provide daily updates on defects found, including details such as short name, date found, description, severity level, product, and tester name
• Meet with the QA Lead daily to review new and pending defects
• Provide weekly observations, advice, and recommendations following the assessment of testing procedures and results
• Develop weekly reports summarizing testing procedures and observations, to be shared with our end client
  
  

Must Have:

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience within the Lottery Industry
• Certification in testing practices (e.g., ISQTB, CSTE, CSQA)
• Experience with IGT systems and knowledge of gaming system functionality for traditional lottery products
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
