What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Manager position at Sabre Corporation?
The GDS commercial deals Americas finance manager will serve as a financial consultant to our Sales team and lead two regional analysts on building deal models and understanding complex pricing structures. In addition to partnering deeply with our Sales team, will also partner with other areas of finance to ensure that we are enabling our business partners to pursue business that is best for Sabre from a financial perspective.

- Responsible for managing a team of 2 employees and ensuring all distribution proposals for the Americas region are thoroughly analyzed, forecasted, and well-presented to C-level executives.
- Responsible for collaboration and communication with the FP&A, accounting, billing, contracts, legal, and sales teams on all deals that have significant impact in any area of the business.
- Responsible for training employees on how to analyze proposals from a financial perspective, paying special attention to how the deals will drive/reduce value to the company and how to make recommendations on pricing structure, cost, and other financial aspects to ensure lucrative deals are presented to executives for approval.
- Leading team in areas of self-improvement such as trainings that match their growth needs, providing networking opportunities in a remote setting to enhance their Sabre footprint, mentoring, support during C-level exec presentations, along with financial modeling and forecasting training.
- Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for future new hires along with user guides for current team to enable a more streamlined analysis process.
- Ensuring all distribution proposals meet corporate policy and accounting standards.
- Reviewing contracts to ensure language meets the proposal approved, protects Sabre’s interests from a legal perspective, and prevents future terminations/cash flow risks.
- Ensuring correct implementation of new deal structures from a billing perspective and understand internal limitations and risks.
- Driving process improvements through improved financial models and working directly with sales on strategic solutions/implementations.
- Assisting C-level executives with any ad-hoc analysis needed to drive success for the company.
- Developing and leading a strong finance team while having the chance to work with a best-in-class global organization.

- Bachelor degree or equivalent, MBA preferred.
- 5 years of related experience
- Self-starter capable of driving results even with limited information.
- Highly analytical and curious approach, always asking questions and validating assumptions.
- Knowledge of financial principles, such as revenue recognition, P&L, margin analysis.
- Detail-oriented
