Essential Duties:
- Processes accounts payable invoices by matching PO, invoice and receipt to verify correct quantity and cost
- Maintains accounting records
- Communicates with inventory and purchasing to correct discrepancies
- Runs reports to verify entry
- Maintains procedures and workflow
- Performs other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; 2 year degree in Accounting is preferred
Experience: 2 years accounting experience preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in Computer Applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and effective organizational skills
- Regular and timely attendance is required
Physical Requirements:
- Position is in an office environment and will require working on a computer most of the day
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or grasp, reach with hands and arms
- Frequently required to talk and hear
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
