Scope of Responsibility:
Safe operation of an overhead crane and squaring press.
Essential Duties:
- Daily inspection and monitoring of operating equipment
- Constant communication with Team Lead on daily tasks
- Safe handling and operation within designated department
- Able to read a tape measure and utilize a press
- Load and unload trailers with proper technique safely
- Maintaining product flow efficiency within their designated department
- Additional duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Regular and timely attendance is required
- Prior experience of overhead bridge crane operation preferred
- Have basic math skills and able to use basic measuring devices (i.e. tape measure and micrometers)
- Ability to use manual hand tools (i.e. wrenches and clamps)
- Work in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
