Responsibilities :
Sabre Systems is actively looking for a AR / VR Graphics Designer to support our Navy customer in Dahlgren, VA. The individual will be focused on creating virtual environments, digital twins, and UI in various mediums. Extensive knowledge of Unity game engines rendering capabilities and graphics systems to visualize engineering based datasets as well as AI / ML trained algorithms. Ability to work well with other developers, data scientists, and engineers with the shared goal of creating complex virtual systems.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma and Four (4) years professional experience which includes three (3) years of experience with software development tools such as C , Net / C#, Atlassian Jira Atlassian Confluence, and Object-Orientated Programming. In addition the following experience is desired : Interactive Game Development to include programming and / or architecture design, artificial intelligence programming, and art or graphics background.
- Experience creating custom shaders with node-based graph editors.
- Experience working with various rendering pipelines in Unity.
- Proficient in hard surface modelling in Blender or Maya.
- Understanding of design principles associated with video game genre conventions.
- Extensive asset creation with Adobe Suite products to create user-friendly UI / UX.
- Ability to conduct playtests, design reviews, and feedback events.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance or higher is required
- Candidate is required to pass a background investigation
- Must be a US Citizen
