What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr. Information Assurance Analyst position at Sabre Systems?
The Jr. Information Assurance Analyst will provide application, program, system and network information assurance support to include the coordination, execution, and evaluation of required certification/accreditation testing as well as the timely and accurate reporting of test results. Candidate will analyze the network engineering methods, equipment evaluations recommendations, server installations, and network technology refreshes as they relate to information assurance requirements.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in computer security and knowledge in patching Windows and UNIX/Linux systems.
- Bachelor's degree desired or High School diploma and 2 years of experience.
- Troubleshooting Windows or Linux systems
- Virtualization technologies (VMware, Virtualbox, etc)
- Basic networking (IP addressing, switch/router configuration)
- Familiarity with computer security configurations (e.g. STIG)
- Familiarity with SCAP/scan technologies (e.g. Nessus)
- Candidate must be a US Citizen with a DoD secret clearance
