Job Title: Vice President of Business Development
Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a strategic and results-focused Vice President of Business Development to drive growth and innovation in a highly complex Federal government contracting environment.
This senior executive role offers the opportunity to shape and execute a winning strategy, build lasting relationships, and play a key role in expanding Sabre's presence in the industry.
The ideal candidate must be within a commutable distance to Sabre System's office in PAX and be actively engaged across Sabre's business market regions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the overarching strategy and tactical activities for business development within the organization, focusing on all possible avenues to support continued growth.
- Identify, qualify, capture, and close new business through proactive relationship-building with potential customers.
- Maintain a pipeline of target opportunities that have been qualified through Sabre's bid / no-bid process
- Lead business development activities for new business opportunities from pre-marketing through proposal submission.
- Establish and maintain relationships with teaming partners.
- Identify, recommend, and lead efforts to gain prime access to IDIQs, BPAs, and other GWACs.
Qualifications:
- At least 12 years of directly applicable experience.
- Proven success in identifying, influencing, responding to, and winning Federal government contracts.
- A track record demonstrating the ability to establish relationships with Federal government officials.
- Proven ability to identify and focus all efforts on the specific activities that will lead to corporate growth.
- Exceptional communication skills and a self-starter attitude willing to lead and contribute to any corporate activity.
- Willingness to work long hours during peak periods.
- Ability to provide leadership and ensure team accountability.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven BD experience at one or more of the following agencies: Army, USAF, Navy, HHS, DHS, DoJ, DoL, and/or VA.
- Expertise in capture strategy development, customer engagement, and strategic teaming.
