Sabre’s NDC Product Management team sits at the heart of our business, defining product strategies and roadmaps for New Distribution Capability (NDC) implementations. Working hand in hand with Engineering, Product and Customer Care teams you will define, articulate and realize the vision for your product portfolio, ensuring Sabre achieves and exceeds the critical business goals and imperatives required to thrive. You’ll bring energy, empathy, experience, delivery excellence and passion to the team. Expanding upon exceptionally strong and mutually respectful relationships with our Airlines, Travel Agency partners and internal stakeholders, you will continuously drive incremental value cementing Sabre as the industry’s leading travel technology partner.
Role Responsibilities :
- Define the product strategy and translate it into a vision that balances customer needs, business goals, and resource limitations.
- Take responsibility for the product roadmap and lifecycle (ideation to delivery), help the entire team balance long-term and short-term goals, and represent “the customer” within the development lifecycle.
- Interact with customers and stakeholders at all levels on a regular basis, articulating investment priorities, supporting NDC adoption / implementation, and uncovering opportunities to further deepen the backlog for future investment.
- Represent Sabre within industry forums and working groups
- Conduct market and competitive research to make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Dig into complex user scenarios, explore pain points, and deliver viable solutions that bring value.
- Make things simple by proposing necessary and sufficient new feature concepts and optimize existing capabilities to drive the business.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to deliver value to customers.
- Author technical documentation / API user guides ensuring consumers can integrate capabilities in a self-sufficient manner.
