Job Description
The Web Developer Team will provide on premises support at Sponsor site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class audio visual experience. The Team will collaboratively develop, implement, install and maintain streaming audio visual systems for the tenants. The Team will focus on systems engineering providing audio visual system performance analysis, requirements engineering and management, testing and evaluation for successful system development, design, implementation, and operational maintenance and provide documentation project reporting. This role interfaces with very senior level of end users. The Team must be comfortable in working within this environment and be skilled at building a rapport with these individuals. The Contractor will work primarily as a member of team but will be expected to complete elements of the projects independently. The program welcomes new and innovative approaches to solving problems and ensuring timely delivery of the products. The Team will work with stakeholders, LAN and network engineering, and Information System Security Engineers however, the Sponsor project manager will manage priorities. The Team shall perform a variety of engineering analysis, software, hardware for television and video walls or network development, integration, testing, and system maintenance tasks. The Team shall provide continuous lifecycle engineering services and support to advanced, complex technical streaming and recording projects utilizing state of the art technical production hardware and software applications. The Team shall serve as a technical consultant to internal Sponsor customers, generating functional system descriptions, block flow diagrams and equipment lists to enable generation of customer proposals. The Team shall provide array of customer services surrounding the utilization, operation, and implementation of Audio Visual / Video Conferencing systems. The Team shall support tasks to design, analyze, install, manage, and configure advanced end to end audio visual production systems including video walls. The Team shall maintain compliance with approved audio visual system production method and quality standards. The Team shall support Sponsor’s requirements for the utilization of the audio visual systems. The Team shall assess and provide troubleshooting to all AV systems and cable TV used for any and all official and non-official purposes in Sponsor or Sponsor customer owned infrastructure and buildings. Troubleshooting includes, but is not limited to, the following types of services : diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and installation. The Team shall maintain Sponsor provided computer based Routers / Switchers, video projectors, DVD / hard-drive recorders, TV’s, CCTV cameras, microphones, fiber interconnectivity devices, duplicating equipment, network streaming solutions, and set-up of networks systems. The Team shall be able to perform their duties at heights and indoors or outdoors. The Team shall maintain current equipment. The Team shall design, install, configure, and commission AV systems and advanced control systems—including custom control interfaces—throughout training sites (often above ceilings and under floors, indoors and outside) as well as programming sophisticated control equipment and configuring point-to-point and multipoint-to-multipoint networked systems. The Team shall review existing processes and develop solutions to increase productivity. The Team shall identify duplicative capabilities, technology, processes and system gaps and provide recommendations for improvement. The Team shall support risk mitigations and eliminations. The Team shall provide engineering services for audio visual production control application programs. The Team shall support tasks to design program format for final output, including capturing and importing data. The Team shall maintain documentation such as project plans, architecture diagrams, CONOPS plans, requirements, and test plans. The Team shall adhere to industry standards for installation, commissioning and quality control to fulfill and exceed customer expectations, completing assigned duties or assigned portions of projects in a timely and responsible manner. The Team shall support special projects in support of mission requirements, which may include working extended or non-standard hours, to include late night or weekend work 2-3 times a month on average. The Team shall have professional oral communication skills in order to correctly troubleshoot, assist, and solve customer’s requirements and needs.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience engineering and programming for video streaming and capture tools (such as Extron and Shure)
- Demonstrated experience adding new features, optimizing, scaling, or improving stability and performance of streaming audio visual systems
- Demonstrated experience commissioning and acceptance testing of code
- Demonstrated experience performing installation tasks for audio visual projects including pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects and metal fabrication
- Demonstrated experience with the installation of video streaming systems and displays including rack construction, pulling cable, and preparing equipment for installation
- Demonstrated experience programming large video systems with multiple endpoints
- Demonstrated experience programming signage displays
- Demonstrated experience communicating with stakeholders at senior levels
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively within a team while also able to complete tasks independently
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with a team with varying skill levels to complete projects
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office tools
- Demonstrated experience using Adobe Photoshop or similar for basic video editing
