We are looking for an experienced Systems Architect to join our program supporting a key government customer in a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience. This program delivers cloud-based engineering services with modern technology solutions. As a mission-focused Architect, you will be expected to :
Recognize the issue(s), identify the facts, define additional data that would be helpful, make assumptions as necessary, determine alternative approaches, evaluate alternatives, make recommendations, alter assumptions and rework solutions, and reflect on lessons learned.
We are actively seeking to fill multiple positions within this job category representing a range of experience levels starting with a minimum of 16 years' experience, and a range of skill levels from basic to advanced. Required Skills
- Must have significant experience with Python, Java, Automation and Systems Design
- Deep understanding / experience in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, Oracle) enabling you to design solutions answering the complex needs for multifaceted applications and IT systems
- Ability to provide strategic direction, roadmap and standard
- Creating and maintaining architecture design and standards within the models
- Ability to develop high-level system specifications
- Ability to provide Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) support
- Ability to collaborate with Engineers regarding design solutions
- Evaluate current and emerging technologies identifying solution impact
- Ability to work independently, and possess an aptitude for getting things done
- Develop future technology and architectural advancements to support the customers’ vision and goals
- Knowledge of modern software languages (e.g., Python, Bash Scripting, JavaScript, etc.)
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Salt, Terraform, Chef, etc.)
- Knowledge of Containers (e.g., Dockers, Kubernetes)
