As we expand, we are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our team full-time in our Deerfield Beach office.
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to support luxury residential new construction and renovation projects. This role requires strong design skills, AutoCAD proficiency, and a solid understanding of materials and furnishings. The ideal candidate will have experience collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to bring high-end residential interiors to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing design concepts, space plans, and material selections.
- Produce AutoCAD drawings and construction documents, ensuring compliance with Florida building codes and regulations.
- Research and source materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings to align with the project vision.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and architects to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support the procurement and installation process, ensuring accuracy in orders and deliveries.
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and presentations to review project progress and address design-related concerns.
- Maintain and update project documentation, schedules, and specifications.
- Assist with FF&E selections and specifications for custom furnishings and décor.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5 years of experience in luxury residential interior design (new construction & renovations).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Required).
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides (Required).
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and furnishings for high-end residential projects.
- Familiarity with Florida building codes, permitting, and construction regulations is a plus.
- Experience working with contractors, architects, and vendors.
- Ability to read and produce construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- A degree in Interior Design or Architecture is required.
